The first time I saw a Great White concert was in Maryland in the 80’s with Tesla. April, 2010 I got to see them again at the Blue Ridge Bike fest in Virginia. I had not yet heard “Rising” and after hearing them play two of the songs in concert, once again I was hooked. I was lucky enough to catch them again July, 2010 in Buford, Georgia. That Jack Russell…what a trooper he was. It was painfully obvious that he was suffering. A less dedicated performer would never have done it. But he soldiered through and, once again, THEY ROCKED!!! That night I was lucky enough to get a spot right at the stage in front of Mark Kendall. So close, so loud…it was better than Christmas! Thank you Great White for sharing your talent, bearing your souls in your lyrics, and all of the time and things you’ve had to endure over the past, almost 30 I think, years to bring your music to us. I to have ended my 10 yr realationship and it took about 1 yr of heavy drinking and thinking life is over till you wake up and realize we are better human beings and deserve a women to love us back as we did the. My tattoo Save your Love now means she was not the one. Been thru the drugs, drinking women first marriage of 15 yrs and 3 wonderful kids. And as you have said in an interview Jack. We grow and get wiser. I inspire to be a better human being everyday now. To give and help otheres instead of myself. I quit drinking 6 months after flying to see you play in Texas. I could be a great life coach to ya Jack. :) I found the pill we always looked for in the back of our minds everyday. Life now rocks and you are the best band to ever form. You have soul.
